ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Committed to quality sleep, all mattresses manufactured by Boyd Sleep — including Thomasville, Nautica Home and Boyd Sleep branded mattresses — are manufactured entirely fiberglass free and chemical free. Fiberglass is used by many mattress manufacturers to meet Fire Retardancy standards set by the government. Fiberglass fibers, however, can cause irritation and health risks when exposed to the human body.Boyd Sleep uses a natural plant based chemical free cellulose fiber to meet FR standards and regulations, effectively avoiding the health risks of fiberglass while providing FR protection. In addition, foams used in mattresses made by Boyd Sleep are Certi-Pur-US certified, validating that Boyd Sleep mattresses are made without chemical flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates and have low VOCs.
Boyd Sleep has earned 35 patents for its innovations, continuing its focus on the health and safety of consumers.
