Fiberglass fibers, however, can cause irritation and health risks when exposed to the human body.Boyd Sleep uses a natural plant based chemical free cellulose fiber to meet FR standards and regulations, effectively avoiding the health risks of fiberglass while providing FR protection. In addition, foams used in mattresses made by Boyd Sleep are Certi-Pur-US certified, validating that Boyd Sleep mattresses are made without chemical flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates and have low VOCs.
